Rotate PDF Pages

Rotate all pages in a PDF by 90, 180, or 270 degrees.

Fix the orientation of a PDF by rotating all pages. Choose 90°, 180°, or 270° clockwise.

Scanned documents, faxed pages, and PDFs exported from some software often arrive with the wrong orientation. Rotating the PDF permanently changes all pages to the correct orientation without affecting any of the content.

Our tool uses pdf-lib to apply rotation metadata directly to each page object — no re-rendering occurs, so text and images remain at full quality. The file size barely changes since only the rotation flag in each page descriptor is updated.

If you only need to rotate specific pages rather than all pages, use the Split PDF tool to extract those pages, rotate them here, and merge them back with the Merge PDF tool.

How to use Rotate PDF Pages

  1. Step 1: Upload your PDF by dragging it in or clicking to browse.
  2. Step 2: Select the rotation angle: 90° clockwise, 180°, or 270° clockwise (equivalent to 90° counter-clockwise).
  3. Step 3: Click "Convert now" and download the corrected PDF. All pages will be rotated by the amount you chose.
